After a lot of consideration and deliberation and procrastination, I have finally decided on my favourite Call of Duty (so far). In was a close contest between 3 titles: Call of Duty: Ghosts for PS4, Call of Duty WW2 for PS4 and Call of Duty Black Ops II for PS3…..

If you hadn’t guessed by the image above or maybe you are really stupid then of course I am wiriting about the magnificent Call of Duty Black Ops II……

Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, the game was released November 2012, as expected it was high anticipated. I remember being enthralled by the campaign which crossed 2 time periods, with one following on from Black Ops 1 and the other time period playing as the son of the orginal protagonist. I had alwys played the call of duty games on release and thoroughly enjoyed them but this experience was to be different and I must have had an epiphany!

Believe it or not but I had never before played any of the mulitplayer game modes available in any of the Call of Duty series, I was strictly a PVE gamer. Then I caught this on youtube…..[/et_pb_text]

I’m not sure why and I’m fairly sure it isn’t because of Tony Stark cameo!! But thought I would give the online play a go!

Sure enough, i spent then next few days and weeks getting absolutely caned. Perserverence, however, paid off. I started to drag up my KDR to a positive and hit prestige master fairly quickly,

I’m not sure if it was the colour pallette or the map design but I just loved this game and for the longest time it was the only game I played. My favourite map (without question) was Hijacked – Set onboard a luxury yacht, there were limited open played and you had to develop quick reaction and predict your opponents to be victorious. The sound and feel of the guns has not been repeated since. How I wish this would get the remastered treatment!

Overall I loved all of the multiplayer experience with Black Ops 2 which is a rare thing,  It just clicked with me and I miss the game very much!
